Hello beauties! Today I’m reviewing the Benefit Cosmetics High Beam which is such a stunning highlighter. So if you wanna know more and see some swatches, you know the drill, just keep on reading
This is it! If you don’t know what it is in the beginning it can be quite confusing as it looks exactly like a bottle of nail polish, it even has the same applicator but it definitely is a highlighter.
I don’t get along with liquid highlighters that much but I do found them really pretty to use on a no foundation day just on bare skin. Most of the time liquid highlighters are also not as in your face and a lot more natural looking which I actually kinda love.
The Benefit High Beam is a really pretty but subtle glow with a slight pink tint but that isn’t really that noticeable.
Here you can see the applicator a little bit better and you can see that it indeed just looks like a nail polish applicator. I still don’t know how to feel about these applicators and liquid highlighters, it’s okay to apply but not perfect maybe it will be better if it would be a sponge applicator?
This is a pure swatch on the back of my hand without blending it. It still looks a bit nails polish haha.
This is what it looks like blended in and let’s just say that it doesn’t do its justice on my hand as it’s not glowy at all!
Yup old picture I know but this is what it looks like on my face and now you can definitely see that it is super nice and glowy but not bam in your face metallic. I love that it’s not glittery looking but more wet.
I’m very positive about this product. It’s very nice and pigmented and stays on all day. It’s not too messy or glittery which I like. With me it doesn’t go all weird with my foundation so that’s a plus as many remove the foundation underneath. I really like this one. It’s a bit on the pricey side but still I think you can go a long way with this bottle as you don’t need much. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I do recommend trying this out and give it a go!
That was everything guys! I hope you all enjoyed reading and I will see you all next time!
