Clarins – Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil | Review.

Hello loves! Today I’m reviewing the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in Honey. This is a lifesaver for someone with dry lips! So if you suffer from dry lips make sure to keep on reading!

I came up with this product because of Zoella, she talked about how much she loved it and that it was a lifesaver for people with dry lips. I suffer from really dry lips so I knew I had to try this out! This is my first higher end lip care product and I can say that it’s truly amazing, you really feel the quality!

Here is it, the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil! I have the one in Honey but you also have Red Berry, Raspberry, Tangerine, Candy, Honey Glam and Mint.

Pinitclarins lip oil

They are infused with 100% plant oils, they nourish, smooth and plump your lips leaving a protective veil. You can use them in 3 ways, you can use it on its own for hydrating, before lipstick for smooth application, or on top of lipstick for added shine.

This is what the applicator looks like, it’s a really big and fluffy applicator which I really love! It really hugs your lips. The bottle doesn’t have a stopper so the product can spill if you’re not careful. Because of the size of the applicator you need to pull a bit harder to get it out, you need to be careful though because the applicator is a bit drippy. It’s a bit messy so that’s something I don’t like.

This is what it looks like on the lips, just a shiny smooth gloss.

Technically it’s just like a lip gloss, only it’s less sticky. It is a tiny bit sticky but it’s not bothering me. It really moisturizes my lips and stays on for hours, you don’t need to reapply as often which I like. Even when it’s gone my lips still feel really soft for quite some time. I do think for the price you don’t get a lot of product which is a bit of a shame.

I do really like this lip oil and it feels really comfortable on the lips, the only thing I think is weird is that it’s called an oil but it doesn’t feel like oil! Maybe that’s just me haha! I will definitely buy this again and maybe I try the other ones as well. So if you have dry lips I definitely recommend this product!

– The Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil retails for €23,95 at Douglas and $26.00 at Sephora.
