Look at this lovely pink goodness! My lips are always very dry and this lip-scrub helps me very well! Lip-scrubs can be very expensive, making it yourself is much cheaper and works the same! Another bonus, the most of the ingredients you may already have lying around in your house!

The things you will need:

  • 2 Tablespoons of sugar.
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of salt.
  • A few drops of olive oil.
  • A few drops of glycerine.
  • 1 Teaspoon of coconut oil.
  • Pink food coloring.
  • A container.

The first step is to take a small bowl and a fork to mix the lip-scrub with. Take 2 tablespoons of sugar and put it in the bowl. Now take 1/2 teaspoon of salt and also add it in the bowl. Put a few drops of olive oil and glycerine in the mixture. Then take a teaspoon full of solid coconut oil and add is as well. Now take your fork and mix everything well together, mash the coconut oil a bit so it’s all well combined. Last step is to add a few drops of pink food coloring in to make it a nice soft pink color. You can also use other colors of course, but I think pink looks really cute for a lip-scrub! Mix it well until your mixture is all over pink, with no white specs. Now your lip-scrub is ready to be used!

How to use it:

I think it’s best to use it in the bathroom by the sink, because it can be a bit messy šŸ™‚ Now take a little bit of your lip-scrub and put in on your lips. Now with your finger rub it on your lips for 10 to 15 seconds, not too long! Otherwise you can hurt your skin. Wipe off your lips or wash it off. Now you have super soft and hydrated lips!
