L.A Girl – Pro Conceal Concealer In Porcelain | Review.

Hi guys! Today I’m reviewing another concealer, I’m reviewing the L.A Girl Pro Conceal Concealer in the shade Porcelain! So if you wanna know my thoughts on this concealer then keep on reading!

Pinitla girl pro concealer

This is the L.A Girl Pro Conceal Concealer, I have the shade Porcelain which is the lightest shade. I wanted to try out this concealer because I saw many big YouTubers like NikkieTutorials use it and love it. I must say that I’m actually not that impressed!

They say it’s a crease-resistant, creamy, opaque coverage that is really lightweight. It is a long wearing formula that conceals darkness under the eyes and imperfections or redness. It provides natural coverage, an even skin tone and minimizes fine lines under the eyes.

I was really excited when it came in the mail, but when I opened it up to see what the product looks like I had a not so nice surprise… I squeezed the tube but nothing came out, I squeezed all the product down and finally something came out, the tube was literally only half full which I was not expecting from a brand new tube! I don’t know if I’m the only one or that it’s supposed to be half empty, if so I think it’s a bit weird… (you can also see it a bit on the pictures that it looks like I’ve used it a lot, but actually I’ve used it just a couple of times).

This is what the applicator looks like. I think many people like this type of brush applicator, but I find it really difficult to work with so I don’t really like it.

This is what the concealer looks like when you squeeze it out of the tube. It’s not a really think concealer but also not runny, it’s the perfect consistency. This is the lightest shade they have, but it’s still a bit orange for me.

This is what it looks like blended out a bit. The coverage seems okay, but when I blend it out completely the coverage also disappears a bit.

This concealer is not really my thing, I know a lot of people do like it but for me it’s a no no! That it arrived half empty is already a big con, I also don’t like the application brush. I’ve tried it on my under eyes and on some of my spots but the coverage is not that amazing, I have concealers that do a much better job at concealing. They also said that it doesn’t crease and minimizes fine lines around the eyes, but that is almost the opposite of what happened to me. It creased a lot in my fine lines, which didn’t went away, it kept creasing even after setting it. It made my fine lines around my eyes even more noticeable than when I’m not wearing any concealer.

I have to pass on this concealer, but every one is different of course! I don’t like it but that doesn’t mean you don’t love it 🙂

– The L.A Girl Pro Conceal Concealer retails for $5.00 at lagirlusa.com, for £5.15 at beautybay.com and for €4,99 at boozyshop.nl.

I hope you all enjoyed reading and I will see you all next time!

I always wanted to try the orange version of this for colour correcting dark circles! But I figured orange would be too dark for my pale skin. When I saw the applicator, I was sort of turned off from the product. Granted, I’ve never used a brush tip like that for concealer but I just think it’s weird lol.

They also have a peach one, it’s the same as the orange one but then for people with fair skin. Maybe you should check out that one? It might work better! Yeah it’s a bit of a weird applicator lol. X

I felt the same way about the Covergirl Outlast concealer.

I agree that this concealer (porcelain ) does cause a lot of creasing and settles in fine lines, I didn’t like using it as an under eye concealer at all. However the color correcting shades work amazingly… I’ve used the orange and peach for my dark circles (and I’m like white as paper) and they work so well for color correcting. I go in with my Maybelline Fit Me concealer afterwards and it works great. I love that these correcting concealers don’t have that waxy/oily texture to them. It’s weird the skin tone versions of this I don’t like/ but the correcting shades are my fav! The green one is great too. Give em a try you might like these ones better.

That’s weird! I don’t really use color correcting under my eyes as I don’t have too much discoloration going on on there, but that’s so weird that the color correcting ones don’t crease! I always find concealers crease under my eyes, I haven’t find one that doesn’t even the ones people say that doesn’t, with me it always does unfortunately! X

I know it’s totally weird that some crease and others don’t . I’ve heard that baking with powder right after applying concealer is supposed to help with creasing but I find that it makes it look worse on my eyes. Have you tried the Maybelline Fit Me concealer? Also, some people say to dab a little bit of moisturizer or face oil on top of your concealer and it helps with creasing…
