My MAC Lipstick Collection!
Hello loves! Today I’m gonna show you my MAC lipstick collection! I also show you some swatches and give a mini review about every one of them, so if you wanna know which shades I’ve got then keep on reading!
So I know my MAC lipstick collection is fairly small in comparison with some other people, but I’m proud with what I’ve got! I have 4 MAC lipsticks in total, 2 nudes and 2 red shades. The first 2 I’ve bought are the popular shades: Velvet Teddy and Ruby Woo. One month ago I bought another 2: Lady Danger and Persistence.
I never thought I would ever get them because they are quite expensive, I think MAC lipsticks are really nice, but I also have a lot more affordable lipsticks that are also really good! I do really like their packaging, it’s a really nice quality. They have so many different shades and finishes which is also really nice. They also smell really good 🙂
This is what they look like, they are really pigmented like you can see! From left to right: Ruby Woo, Lady Danger, Persistence, Velvet Teddy.
I think everyone knows this shade, haha! I think this is the most popular one so that’s why I needed to have this one. I love it, it’s one of my favorite nudes. It’s not too dark and not too light, it has some pink in it but also some orange. I think this lipstick goes with every look! I could wear this one everyday.
This is a matte lipstick, but it’s not drying and feels really comfortable. I really like this formula and the pigmentation is really nice, like all of the MAC lipsticks. They are also super longlasting!
Here you can see it on my lips, it’s a lovely everyday nude.
This shade I haven’t really heard anyone talk about, but it’s so stunning! It’s a somewhat darker nude, this one is more brown with and burned orange tone. I love it! You can also wear this one for everyday but it’s a bit more edgy than Velvet Teddy.
Also this one is really smooth, I haven’t worn this one as much yet but I think I will really enjoy it! This is also a matte.
This is what Persistence looks like on my lips. You can see it’s a more brown/orange shade and a bit darker. I’m totally in love with this shade!
If I do wear a bright lip, it will almost always be a red shade. I was looking for a bright orange red shade and then I found this one, which is exactly what I was looking for. In some light it looks more red and in other lighting it looks more orange which I really like.
This is also a matte but still really smooth and comfortable to wear! I still want a bright orange lippie, I don’t know why but I think orange lipsticks are so cool and unique!
Here is what Lady Danger looks like on my lips, it’s just so bright I love it!
This is Ruby Woo. This is also a red lippie but a little darker and more blue toned. I think you can call this the classic Hollywood red haha! This shade is fun but also really sophisticated.
This is a retro matte and it’s not my fave formula. The mattes are really smooth and comfortable to wear but the retro mattes are just too dry. It applies really rough and it super drying on the lips, it is more longlasting than the others but I think that’s because of the dryness. I don’t think I will buy a retro matte again. I do love the color but not the formula.
This is what Ruby Woo looks like on my lips, like you can see a really stunning red shade!
Alright guys, that were all my MAC lipsticks so far! I hope my collection is going to grow in the future because I really like them. I of course will do an undated collection when I have more 🙂
I hope you all enjoyed reading and I will see you all later!
