Makeup Revolution – Eat, Sleep, Makeup, Repeat Palette | Review.
Hi beauties! Today I’m reviewing a very colorful eyeshadow palette, the Makeup Revolution Eat, Sleep, Makeup, Repeat Pro Looks Palette. If you wanna know what my thoughts are on this palette and see some swatches and looks, then keep on reading!
If you love color and affordable makeup the Eat Sleep Makeup Repeat Palette by Makeup Revolution is the perfect palette for you! You can create 3 different looks with this palette, or of course create your own!
The palette looks like every other palette by Makeup Revolution, it’s a shiny black palette with gold writing on it. It’s made from a hard plastic and I really like the sturdiness of these palettes.
In this palette you’ll find 15 eyeshadows, a big mirror which is a plus, and a sponge applicator. You can make a pink/red look, a green/yellow look or a purple/blue look with this palette. I love the different bright colors in this palette, it’s really versatile and you have almost every bright color you’ll ever need.
I really enjoyed playing with this palette, I love my nude shadows but from time to time I also really love a pop of color. It’s also really nice that there is a highlight color for every look, a matte white shadow, a shimmery white shadow and a silver shadow.
These are all the names of the colors, I think the names are a bit weird but at least they have a name haha! I swatched all the colors for you guys, so let’s take a look at that.
The first look is a pink/red one. The first shade is a matte white highlight called Rave On, this one is not really pigmented unfortunately. The second shade is a light pink color called Right Now. This one is also not the most pigmented, it seems that way with all the lighter colors. The third shade is a shimmery red/orange shade called Say It Now. This one I really like and is also really pigmented. The fourth shade is a darker bright pink called Final Track. This color is also really nice and pigmented. The last one is a darker purple/pink shade called Right Here. It looks way darker in the pan than how it looks on the skin, that’s also the problem of some other colors.
This is the green/yellow look. The first shade is a metallic white shade called Rave Off. This shade is really shiny and pigmented. The second one is a light yellow/green shade called Hot Track. This is again not so pigmented unfortunately, it looks so pretty and bright in the pan! The third shade is a shimmery green shade called Needle On. This is a really pretty color and nice and pigmented. The fourth shade is a matte deep bright green shade called Eat Everything. This one is also really pigmented. The last one is a dark shimmery green shade called Re-Mix. This one looks a bit greener in the pan, but it’s still pretty and very pigmented.
The last one is the purple/blue look. The first shade in this one is a really pretty and pigmented silver shade called Repeat Again. The second one is a nice teal/blue shimmery shade called Rave All Night. This one looks really pretty but in the pan it looks way more teal than on the skin. It also looks a lot darker in the pan. The third shade is a bright royal blue color called Sleep All Day. This one is not super pigmented but not the worst in pigmentation. The fourth shade is a light lilac/purple color called Magician. This one is again not as pigmented, and it looks way darker and more purple in the pan. The last shade is a dark shimmery purple color called Ibiza Heaven. This one is really pretty and pigmented.
I also made 3 looks with this palette so you can see what the look like on the eyes, I think I like the pink/red one the most and the green one the least, what do you think?
I really like this palette! You can make some amazing colorful looks with it. This eyeshadow palette is just a must have for everyone that loves makeup, also when you don’t use many bright colors you’ll never know when you do need them.
Overall the eyeshadows are really pigmented, the lighter shades doesn’t show up as much but they are buildable, and with a white eye primer they will show up even more. They apply really nice and blend well. When you swirl your brush in the pans there is a lot of fallout because the eyeshadows are really powdery, but on the eyes I didn’t really notice any fallout. The only thing I don’t really like is that some of the shades look way different in the pan than on your actual skin. The pink shades look all a different color in the palette but when you swatch them or put them on your eyes they look really similar. They lasted me all day so they are pretty longlasting. I think it’s a wonderful palette, you get a lot of eyeshadows and it’s super affordable, I really recommend it!
– The Makeup Revolution Eat, Sleep, Makeup, Repeat Pro Looks Palette retails for only $9.41 or £6.72 or €7,99.
