Maybelline Color Tattoo.
Today I’m gonna discuss the Maybelline Color Tattoo. I have two colors right now, and I’m gonna tell you what I think about them and if I would buy more of them! Here we go.
They are cream eyeshadows. You can use them as an eyeshadow base, or on there own. The best way to apply them I find is with your fingers. In the beginning when I just got these I applied it with a brush (I really didn’t know how to apply this stuff), but the brush was getting greasy and dirty so I started applying it with my finger and it was way easier. It was a pain in the ass to clean that brush completely out! I do like the color range that they have, they have pop colors but also a lot of neutrals. They say that it last a long time, and they do! But if you wear them on there own, it will crease a lot because it is a cream based eyeshadow. If you try to take it of in the evening, it will come off quite easily, it’s not that you have to scrub very hard because it stays so well. The only problem is that the glitters that are in it are a little bit harder to take off! But it’s worth it! I do recommend to put the same kind of color of regular eyeshadow on top of it so it won’t creases as much.
This is the first color!
The name of this shade is 05-Eternal Gold. It is a standard shimmery gold color. I think it’s really pretty! I mostly use this one after my normal eyeshadows, and pop it on the middle of my eyelids to make them pop and stand out!!
This is the second color. The name of this shade is 70-Metallic Pomegranate. It is a burgundy red shade; this one has less glitters. This one I used on it’s own. I think it looks really pretty on it’s own, only the creasing problem…
Some swatches! This is what they look like on the skin! I think they look really pretty, they are really pigmented and It’s easy to pick up the product out of the jar. They are really creamy so they blend well!
- Nice color range, popping colors and neutrals.
- Really creamy, so nice to apply.
- Look good on the skin.
- Lasts all day.
- Creases a lot when wearing them on there own.
- Hard to get the glitters off of your eye.
- Can’t apply them with a brush that easy.
- The formula is a little bit greasy.
I would definitely buy other colors of the range! would you?
