Maybelline – Fit Me Foundation + Powder | Review.
Hi guys! Today I’m reviewing a foundation and powder I have in my collection for quite some time, I’m talking about the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and Powder. So if you wanna know my thoughts on these 2 face products then keep on reading!
Here they are the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and Powder. I have these for quite some time now, so why not make a review on them, right! Fit Me stands for makeup that matched you perfectly, so let’s start with the review.
Fit Me Powder:
This is the Maybelline Fit Me Powder, I got the shade 120 Classic Ivory. This powder looks natural and gives a matte finish to the skin.
I’ve used this powder for quite some time, but it’s not the best powder in my opinion. It does what it says but you do need a lot of it! The powder is quite hard so if you want anything on your face you need to swirl your brush quite a lot in the pan which I don’t really like. It leaves your skin matte but not super matte. I don’t really reach for this powder because my brushes just can’t pick up any product. This powder is also not really nice for setting your under eyes, my concealer still creased even though I powdered!
Fit Me Foundation:
This is the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, I got the shade 115 Ivory. This foundation has a build in primer and a perfect mix of pigments. It doesn’t make your skin look dull, but healthy and glowy. This foundation doesn’t hide your skin, but instead compliments all the beauty of it. With this foundation your skin can still breath and it’s oil free!
This is what the foundation looks like out of the bottle. It’s not super thick but also not super runny.
Here I blended it out a little bit. It is a tiny bit streaky, but it blends out quite nicely.
This is what the foundation looks like on. It is a little bit too dark and you can see that it is quite powdery. It does give me a glow, but I think this foundation will work a bit better if you have normal to oily skin. Like Maybelline says, it embraces your skin and not hide it, so you do see my freckles. If you are looking for a full coverage foundation, I guess you shouldn’t go for this one. It does even out your skintone but it is pretty sheer. It did last all day, but it did creases a little bit in my fine lines.
I like the foundation more than the powder, I would really like to try their new Fit Me foundation, the dewy one. I don’t think I will repurchase this one again, not that I don’t like it, but with my dry skin it doesn’t really work out. The powder is not my favorite but I already told you why 🙂
I hope you all enjoyed reading and I will see you all next time!
