Milani – Conceal + Perfect Foundation Review.

Hello loves! Today I’m reviewing a new foundation, the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 foundation and concealer. If you wanna know my thoughts on this foundation then keep on reading!

I’ve heard a lot of great things about this foundation and it’s supposed to be a dupe for the Kat Von D Lock It Foundation. This foundation is a 2-in-1 foundation and can also be used as concealer, it’s a super high coverage matte foundation.

This is the Milani Conceal + Perfect  2-in-1 Foundation. I’ve got the shade 01 Creamy Vanilla, in the time I bought it it was the lightest shade available. Because so many pale people found this shade way too dark as the lightest shade (including me) they brought out a lighter shade called 00 Light Natural. I really want to get that one now!

The packaging is a glass bottle and it has a pump. It also kinda looks like the Kat Von D foundation if I must say, I haven’t tried that one yet so I don’t know if they are actual dupes but they are both a really high coverage foundation. I think the bottle looks really nice and fancy and I like it!

Information from Milani:

“Combat under eye circles, redness and other skin imperfections with this full coverage, water-resistant foundation plus concealer in one. A no mess, no drip pump dispenses just the right amount of fluid needed to achieve a flawless look and works around the clock to keep skin looking naturally perfect!”

The consistency of this foundation is really thick like you can see. It looks like a really thick cream and I don’t really like it, it looks like it’s gonna feel really heavy on the skin.

Here I blended it out on my hand, like you can see it is a nice coverage but far too dark and yellow for my skintone. It does blend out easily even though it’s a thick formula.

The foundation is really nice, the coverage is amazing I guess this is the highest coverage foundation I’ve ever owned. This foundation does really feel like a foundation on the skin, it’s not as lightweight and that’s in my opinion a little bit of a con. The foundation is also really matte so if you’re having dry skin you do see dry patches fairly well. I did use this foundation on its own once, but because it was way too dark it didn’t look too well, haha! I also mixed it with a lighter color foundation, that worked pretty well. It was less drying and lighter but I still got the coverage.

overall I’m pretty happy with this foundation, the color was a bit of a miss but now that they have a lighter shade I think that’s no more of a problem. I do like the coverage, but it’s a bit too drying and matte for me. I did really like it when I mixed it with my other foundations! I really think you should give the Milani Conceal + Perfect  Foundation a try if you like a matte high coverage and affordable foundation.

– The Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation retails for $10.00 or  € 12,99.

My favourite foundation for now is the YSL Touche Éclat. It’s pretty pricy for the regular price(65$), but i got it for 30$ wohoo. It’s not full coverage and lightweight on the skin and it’s not too dry on the face. It makes the face look and feel smoother. For full coverage my fave is the Fit Me from Maybelline which is pretty good for the price of 8$. Thanks for the review though.

Very good review! Glad to hear that the lighter shade worked out much better for you but not good that it dries out the skin. Perhaps this may work well with my skin as I tend to have oily skin and most foundations I have used do get fairly oily throughout my day. Seeing that the price is reasonable I would still love to try this product out! Thanks for giving us a few tips and a heads up on what to look out for =)

Thank you! I think this foundation will work better with more oily skin, you can give it a go! The coverage is really nice and I love that’s it’s super affordable, only the color and dryness was a bit of a miss for me. Thank you for reading love! X
