Wow it’s the last day of June already, time is flying by I can’t even keep up anymore, it’s crazy! But we all know what that means right? It’s time for my Monthly favorites! Today I’ll get through the things I’ve been absolutely loving this month, so if you wanna know what I’ve been using non stop in the month June then keep on reading!
Today I have 6 favorites, some of the things I bought recently and fell totally in love with it. I also have some skincare products and even a brush, although it’s more of a technique that works really well with that brush. Let’s take a look at my first favorite!
This is the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals. If you read my small NYX haul you already know a little bit about this beauty. I’ve been wanting this one for months, but it kept selling out or not even being in stock for weeks. When I saw that it was finally back in stock I immediately bought it! I’m addicted to warm toned eyeshadows so I knew I would love this one very much! I love every shade, it just got everything I need in a palette. I will do a proper review on it soon so if you wanna know more then definitely stay tuned! 🙂
My next favorite is this brush. It’s not really the brush itself but more the new purpose I got for this little one. I got this one quite a while ago in a brush set from BoozyCosmetics but never used it as I don’t really use brushes to buff out my concealer. This brush is a round concealer brush and it’s a decent size, not small not too big. It’s fluffy but quite dense. I wanted to try this brush out for using eye makeup but it was a bit too big and dense. On one day I did a more smokey eye but the edges were a bit harsh and not blended so I grabbed this little baby and let me just say, this type of brush is SO good at softening edges, it’s amazing. It saves me so much time, I do my makeup look without blending out the edges and after that I go over the edges with this brush a few times and it looks like I did a half an hour of blending, it’s amazing! You should try this if you have a similar brush like this… really you should.
My third favorite is the NYX Epic Ink Liner. I wanted to try this so badly as people say it’s a dupe for the Kat Von D Tattoo liner (They don’t sell Kat Von D products in The Netherlands *UGH*). This looks like a felt tip eyeliner but it actually isn’t, it has tiny brush hairs just like the one from Kat Von D. This eyeliner applies so easily it’s almost scary! Even when I barely touch my skin it’s rich black. I don’t have to tuck on my eyes anymore as this just glides so easily. I’m also planning on doing a review on this one, so be ready!
Yes, another NYX product, are you getting bored yet? This is also a new one in my collection. I wanted an orange nude and this one is amazing, it’s in the shade Sierra. It’s not super creamy but I think that is what you can expect from a matte lipstick. This is the perfect color for me for a day to day look and that was what I was looking for. I wore this one almost everyday, and it suited all my makeup looks, so a big thumbs up for this one!
On to the skincare stuff! This is an eye cream from EMK that I’ve got in one of my Bluxbox boxes. I don’t own a lot of eye creams but I’ve been using this one this last month and I’m loving it. It keeps my eye area really hydrated and they look a lot brighter and more awake. I love it!
This is also one this I got recently. I own quite some lipscrubs but they are all in a pot and all sugar scrubs which in my opinion get really messy! I wanted a lipscrub in a stick form and then I found this one from Douglas, it’s a balm and scrub in one. On one side you have the balm and on the other the scrub. I really like this way of scrubbing my lips and it’s a lot less messy. This is definitely a win for me!
Alright guys that were all my favorites of the month June! I hope you all enjoyed reading and I will see you all next time!
