I finally had some time to play with makeup again so I thought why not show you guys what I’ve came up with. Today I did a peachy eyelook paired with a nude lip. This is a colorful makeup look but still natural enough to wear it as daytime look, and perfect for this time a year. So if you wonder how I created this and what I’ve used then keep on reading!
I’m quite busy lately so I haven’t got time to sit down and create a full face of makeup. I finally got around to play a bit with makeup which I was so exited for because I kind off missed it a little.
Like I said I’m quite busy lately so that’s also why there aren’t so many blog posts, I’m so sorry! I haven’t been feeling myself lately and wasn’t into anything, also blogging. My depression said hello again unfortunately, I never really talked about my depression on my blog because I find it really hard to open up about it but I might to a story time on it if you guys are interested, let me know in the comments!
I also went to the hair dressers to chop off a big chunk of my hair, I’m now having a bob and I’m really happy about it! 🙂 My hair was just really annoying me, it’s super thick and frizzy and it just hanged there. It was a hard decision but I’m glad I made it because it feels so much lighter and healthier!
Last week we also went to the vet to get our dog River neutered which came with some problems and more stress. Everything seemed fine in the beginning. We chose to go for a medical shirt instead of a cone because it’s more comfortable, but he kept trying to lick his wounds. We of course did try to stop him but at night or when we weren’t there we couldn’t of course. 3 days after his surgery he developed green scabs and he was really itchy so we went back. Nothing wrong really but he needed to stop licking his wounds so he got a cone. In the evening things got worse and there were green fluids coming out, we called the vet again and the next day we went back. Apparently he is allergic to his stitches and his body was trying to break them down. It was really sensitive and he really didn’t like it when they cleaned it. He got more antibiotics and a day later he was feeling much better again and he became his old happy self again. It’s finally going well now so I’m SO happy! It was quite stressful but it’s on the better hand now 🙂
Enough talking, let’s go on with the makeup look!
These were all the colors I’ve used, the products I’ve used are on the bottom of this post but you can always go into your own makeup stash and find similar shades.
First I applied shade 1 in my crease as a transition color and to make everything blend more easily. Then I applied shade 2 in my crease as well and blended it together, now we have the base of our peachy eyelook. Then I applied shade 4 really lightly into my crease as well, this is a really pigmented shade so I only used a little. I blended everything well and went on to the lid color. I used shade 3 for my lid color which is a lovely rose gold shade. I used my finger to apply it so it’s more pigmented. For the outer part of my lid I also packed a bit of shade 2 on for a bit more color. Then I put shade 6 in my outer V for some definition and to darken the look up a little. I connected shade 6 also on the outer half of my lower lashline and shade 2 on the inner part of my lower lashline. I put a bit of shade 5 in my inner corners, curled my lashes and put some mascara on and the look is done!
This look is super easy so it’s perfect for when you’re a beginner, and you only need 6 eyeshadows isn’t that amazing!
