Nabla – Eyeshadows + Customizable Palette | Review.
Hi guys! Today I’m reviewing the Nabla Eyeshadows and their customizable palette. These eyeshadows are amazingly pigmented and the colors are stunning, so if you wanna know more and see some swatches then keep on reading!
I really wanted a customizable palette for a long time and then I saw the refill eyeshadows from Nabla and they looked really good! I bought their 12 shadow palette and I chose 12 eyeshadow refills to fit into the palette. I got warm shades and cool shades. They also have a palette that fits 6 eyeshadows. You can also buy blush, highlight and contour refills for in your palette. I already did a review on the Nabla contour and highlight if you want to check that out. There are in total 63 eyeshadows available, you have matte ones, metallic, shimmer and duo-chrome one.
The Nabla eyeshadows are really pigmented and soft like butter. They blend really well and you can use them dry but also wet. They are formulated without: silicones, mineral oil, parabens, pegs, phthalates, edta. Nabla is cruelty free & vegan.
These are all the colors I picked out, I tried organizing them by color.
Narciso: This is a really nice brown matte transition shade.
Petra: I really like this shade, it’s a matte reddish brown color.
Aphrodite: This is a shimmery orange shade.
Fahrenheit: This is a matte burgundy shade.
Circle: This is a beautiful matte mauve shade.
Calypso: This is a really shimmery lilac shade.
Juno Moon: This is a gorgeous shimmery purple pink shade which shifts in different lighting.
Mimesis: This is a dark matte purple shade, perfect for in the crease.
City Wolf: This is a matte light grey shade.
Ground State: This is a purple grey shimmer, also really pretty.
Atmosphere: This is a light green shimmer shade that also has gold glitter in it, I think this is a really special shade.
Babylon: This is a dark shimmery teal color.
Here are the swatches from the first row: Narciso, Petra, Aphrodite, Fahrenheit (from left to right).
Second row: Circle, Calypso, Juno Moon, Mimesis (from left to right).
Third row: City Wolf, Ground State, Atmosphere, Babylon (from left to right).
I made 2 makeup looks for you guys so you can see the eyeshadows in action. I made a warm toned look and a cool toned look, I think they look stunning on the eyes!
I’m totally in love with these eyeshadows! The color selection is really nice and they are really pigmented. The powders are really creamy and pick up on the brush very well. They blend nicely without much effort. They are super stunning but not super long lasting in my opinion. I tried it with and without eye primer and without eye primer the shimmery shadows on my lid creases really badly and the shimmer was almost gone. They work a lot better with eye primer, and they do last a lot longer. I do really recommend these shadows, they are not super expensive and they have some stunning colors in their collection
