NYX – Angel Veil Primer | Review.

Hi guys! Today I’m reviewing the NYX Angel Veil Primer. I’ve seen some nice things of this primer so I wanted to test it out myself. If you wanna know my thoughts on this primer then keep on reading!

First of all I really like the packaging, it’s super cute and angel like. The tube is handy, I really like the look of it and I can’t wait to see if it will make me look like an angel haha!

This Primer is a super silky and light weight. I first thought it was more of a moisturizing primer but it’s a silicon primer that fills in your pores and makes your skin soft and matte for a smooth foundation application.

Here you can see the consistency. It’s white and quite thick. I must say that it also applies a bit white, it’s not super noticeable but it does make your skin look a little lighter so if you’re brown skinned I don’t know if this primer will suit you.

I love how this primer applies, it makes my skin super smooth and fills in my pores really nicely. I’ve quite big pores on my cheeks and with this primer it’s not really that noticeable which is nice. This primer also doesn’t ball up which I find a lot of silicon primers do when you rub it too much. Applying my foundation with this primer went really well and I didn’t come across any problems or what so ever. I applied a foundation that I’ve used a lot so I would know how it reacts without primer or other primers and that I can’t blame the primer.

I’m always a bit sceptical when it comes to primers and their claim to make your makeup last longer. I mostly use it to make my foundation look more smooth and apply better. My foundation always separates on the end of the day, doesn’t matter what primer I use. But when it comes to this primer and making my makeup last I would say it didn’t do a bad job. I can get oily especially in the evening but on the end of the day it looked like my foundation didn’t slide as much as it does without primer. It did separate on my nose and chin a bit but not as much as it normally does, so my makeup didn’t look too horrible on the end of the day.

I really like this primer, it really reminds me of the Benefit Porefessional but then a lot cheaper! If you’re looking for a primer that is not super expensive I would say definitely give this one a try!

– The NYX Angel Veil Primer retails for €16,85 at Douglas, $15,99 at Target, £13.00 at Boots.

I hope you all enjoyed reading and I will see you all next time!

I liked this primer too! But I typically like the thinner, more hydrating primers. So I didn’t repurhcase after I finished it.

Oh that’s too bad! I kinda like these kind of primers but I also like the more moisturizing ones 🙂 X

The packaging is adorable! I find some silicone primers look nice at first but then the makeup just slides off during the day so I might give this one a go and see if it works with my skin! Thank you!!

I sometimes have that as well. This one is a pretty good one, but I think if you have really oily skin it does slide off Thank you for reading dear! X
