Pamper Sundays #11.

Blackheads! The worst thing in the world to have on your skin! Why are they there, and why does they never go away? Today I’m gonna try a blackhead kit and see if it works! It’s from Holika Holika Pig-Nose clear blackhead 3-step kit. Wanna know if it works? Me too!

Holika Holika is an Asian brand. I hate blackheads and when I saw this kit, I really wanted to try! My pores are also quite big on my nose and also on my cheeks so I hope this works for that as well.

This is what it looks like! Like every Asian product, this one also looks adorable, especially the pigs noses. It’s a 3 step thing and everything is in a different packaging which you can separate. As far as I know, it’s a nose strip, with a preparing treatment and after treatment.

Like you can see, there are no English directions. I’ve looked it up on the internet. It said I needed to cleanse my nose first, then you put step one on your nose, you need to let in on for 15 to 20 minutes. After that you make your nose wet and apply step two, and leave that on for 10 to 15 minutes. Now it’s time for the after treatment which you leave on for another 10 minutes! I’m very excited, so let’s go!

This is what every step looks like on the nose! Step 1 is a wet kind of paper and smells like lemons. I think that this also bleaches the blackheads a little bit. I did feel a slight burn, but it was not painful. Step 2 is just a nose strip, it’s pink on the inside which I find very nice. When I removed this one I was expecting a little more blackheads to come out, so that was maybe a little bit disappointing. Step 3 was a slimy strip, it smelled fresh and felt nice on the nose. It was quite slippery so I needed to tilt my head back otherwise it would slide off. When I looked in the mirror I didn’t really saw a difference, but I took some pictures, maybe you could see it a bit clearer. My nose does feel very soft! 1 Tip for nose strips, peel them off really really slowly, don’t rip them off like a band-aid, because it will hurt your skin and when you do it slowly it will pull out a lot more blackheads.

Are you ready for the photos?

Here is my piggy nose, haha. Sorry for the disturbing close up from my nose. The top photos are the before photos and the bottom ones are the after photos. The photos show that there is a noticeable difference, which I’m surprised off. Not all the blackheads are gone but my pores look smaller! I don’t know if it did more than a normal norse strip, but I do like this blackhead kit! But I do say that it takes quite a lot of time. I guess it took me an hour to do! And of course if you want to keep the results you need to maintain it, it’s not permanent!

What do you think of this blackhead kit? Is it a YAY or NAY? I think it’s a YAY!

Do you use nose strips or do you let your blackheads be? Let me know in the comments!

Lijkt me zeker wel een goed masker! Ik heb wel eens die zwarte maskers geprobeerd tegen black heads maar die werken voor geen meter. Ik wil deze nu ook wel proberen 🙂
