Pamper Sundays #13.
Happy Sunday everyone! It’s pamper time! Today a very interesting face mask! It bubbles on your face.. Wow! Wanna see what it is? Then keep on reading!
This is the Milky Piggy carbonated bubble clay mask from Elizavecca! This face mask is going wild on the internet, and today we are gonna try this baby!
I think the packaging looks adorable! It’s a little piggy with a face mask on 🙂 There are no English descriptions or anything on it, so I had to look it up on the internet. It’s a deep-cleansing and pore cleanser face mask! With its special formulation of charcoal powder, it deeply penetrates the pores to thoroughly get rid of deep-seated dirt while supplying proper nutrients to keep the skin healthy and supple. It not only cleanses, refines and tightens pores but it also helps control excessive sebum which usually causes the pores to be clogged.
When you open the lid there is another lid to protect the mask, because it activates with air. It also comes with a little spatula! I am very nervous to try this one, haha! Like you can see in the thumbnail, my boyfriend joined me, how exciting! Let’s try this!
You scoop a little bit of product out of the little jar with the spatula (about the size of a chestnut). Then you apply it to your face and wait for 5 minutes to let it bubble up! After it’s all bubbled up you need to pat the bubbles down and massage it in to your face for a bigger effect. Now wash your face with lukewarm water and you’re done! 🙂
There we go! It already started to bubble up while we applied it. Like you can see, putting a face mask on is not Perry’s best talent, haha! I don’t blame him, he tried, lol. Mine turned out a little bit better. I saw a lot of video’s about this mask and many people said it tickled. I must say, mine didn’t really feel tickly, it actually quite burned and hurt a little. Perry said that his tickled quite a lot, he didn’t feel a burning sensation. It disappointed me a bit. If you saw My worst Pamper Sundays post you might know why. I guess I’m allergic to something, I don’t know. But even though it hurt quite a bit it was so super funny! My face was 3 times as big as normal, I looked like a troll, haha. You also really hear it bubble up, which is funny.
After the 5 minutes we massaged it into the skin, it was still a little painful. I think that’s really weird because I saw no one with the same problem with this mask! Stupid skin! It removes very easily so that was very nice. My face was a little bit red, but not very extreme. My face did feel very soft and looked glowy and nice, but a little patchy. My face also felt really tight, but a little uncomfortable tight, like it was super dry (which it wasn’t). After the removal Perry said it also burned a little bit with him. His face looked normal and very clean and soft. He liked the mask, and we really had a laugh. He said it felt like worms crawling on his face, Ieww haha.
I think this is a really fun mask and it does make your face clean and soft. I guess it would be a lot of fun if you have a sleepover or something. The mask does work and is very funny, but would I use it again? I don’t know actually! I love the idea and the working of it, but I don’t know if I want to be in pain every time I use it. If my skin liked it as much as I did, I would definitely use it again! But hmmmm…. Sometimes having sensitive skin is so not fun 🙁
Have you tried this super funny mask? Would you try it? Let me know in the comments!
