Pamper Sundays #5.

It’s Sunday again, so it’s time for another Pamper Sundays! We are gonna try a peel off mask this time with the smell of Macarons! Hmmmm….

Pinitpamper sundays 5.1

Let’s first talk a little bit about the packaging! I love how it looks, it looks so happy that you just wanna put in on your face. This mask is from Dr. Van Der Hoog, the Little Mademoiselle Macaron Peel Off Mask! I love peel off masks, they make pamper time a lot more fun.

The mask is separated in two parts, so that you can do this happy mask with a friend, so there is one for you and one for your bestie! Let’s take a look at the back of the packaging.

Here you can see the ingredients! And how it works, and what it does. It says that it removes gently the dead skin cells and impurities off your face, and that it is very calming. It stimulates the healing process of the skin, to give you a fresh clean face. You put a thin layer of the mask on your clean face, then you need to wait for 15 to 20 minutes. Then the funny part begins! Peeling off time! It always feels so satisfying to peel it off. If there is any left over of the mask on your face you can wipe it away with lukewarm water!

This is how it looks on my face. It is a nice sheer purple color. It kinda looks like I put jam on my face, haha. But of course you are all thinking now…Does it really smell like macarons? And yeah, actually it kinda does! It smells pretty sweet, but I do can recognize the smell of macarons. It was a good experience, it didn’t burn or anything. The only problem I always find with peel off masks, is that they just won’t dry on a certain part of my cheeks, so frustrating! Am I alone in this or do you also have that problem? Let me know!

After 20 minutes I decided to take the mask off, even though my cheeks still felt a little bit wet, but if I wanted that part to dry I guess I could wait an hour! It peeled of very easy, but even though it didn’t burn I still had a little bit of a red mark on wear the mask was on my face. But for me that’s kinda normal, because my skin is quite sensitive! My face felt really really clean and still smelled nice like macarons! When I looked at the mask I just pulled off, there were a lot of dead skin cells on there, so I guess it did it’s job properly! I had a good experience with this one, and I love the sweet range of Dr. Van Der Hoog! I will definitely keep using them in the future.

I hope you all had a relaxing Sunday and don’t forget to sometimes pamper yourself a little bit, because you’re worth it girl!

Now we talked about Macarons, let me know in the comments, do you love them, or hate them?
