Pamper Sundays #7.
Today it’s time to talk about my favorite clay mask! This Pamper Sundays I’m gonna use Dr. Organic The Organic Virgin Olive Oil Chinese clay mask. I have this one for quite some time, and it’s my favorite mask at the moment! Wanna know why? Keep on reading!
A little bit of information about this product:
Bio-active Organic Virgin Oil is a super hydrating fruit oil rich in Oleic acid, a powerful antioxidant. We combine this organic virgin oil with proprietary blend of bioactive, naturel and organic ingredients including mineral rich Kaolin (China Clay). This nutrient rich clay based formulation draws oil from the pores while ridding the skins surface of dead cells and impurities stimulating the circulation deep into the capillaries to leave the skin toned, firm and perfectly hydrated.
This is what the tube looks like. The tube is quite big, it contains 125 ml of product, so you can have many uses out of it! The packaging looks good in my opinion, not really spectaculair but also not too boring. It’s all organic so it’s also a very nice mask if you have sensitive skin. It is Paraben free, SLS free, no artificial colors, fragrances or harsh preservatives. It’s not tested on animals and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Even though it’s a clay mask it doesn’t dry out your skin! It’s very moisturizing, so also very nice for the dry skinned beauties out there!
Here is what the back looks like. A lot of information of the product, ingredients and how to use it! It contains; Olive Fruit Oil, Olive Leaf Extract, Aloe Vera Juice, China Clay, White Clay Mineral, Shea Butter, Coco Butter, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Blackcurrant Extract, Lemon Peel Extract, Thyme Extract and Fennel Seed Extract. In my opinion they’re really good ingredients!
The directions says you need to use it twice a week as a part of your cleansing regime. I only use face masks once a week. You need to apply the mask evenly on the face avoiding the eyes and mouth, relax for 10 minutes until it dried up and remove with lukewarm water or a cloth.
it feels really good on my skin, I never get any reaction from this product, which I mostly always have when I use a face mask. It takes a little bit longer than 10 minutes for me to get it all dried up, mostly around 20 minutes. When it’s all dried up it feels really soft if I touch the mask, not gritty like other clay masks. The smell is not strong, and smells a little bit like clay, but not really annoying. Taking this mask off is quite a task. I need to scrub quite a lot to take it off. When the mask is removed my skin looks healthy and looks and feels really soft. My skin also feels really clean and my complexion is a lot more clear, and glowy looking. I don’t really grab a clay mask that often because it’s not so fun taking it off. The only fun part with clay masks is that you can break your face when it’s dried, haha! But if I grab a clay mask this is definitely my favorite!
I hope you all liked this post, and that you all had a lovely Sunday!
