Pamper Sundays #8.
Today for Pamper Sundays, a different looking mask. It is a Jelly mask from Annie’s Way. I thought it was very funny looking and kinda special, so I was looking forward to use this slimy mask! Are you as curious as me? Then keep on reading!
This is what the mask looks like, It’s in a big plastic jar. I was shocked to see how big the jar was, I was expecting a much smaller jar. It contains 250 ml, so I guess I can use it many times. This is the Snail Repairing Jelly Mask by Annie’s Way. It is a Korean skin care brand. It says; Snail essence has excellent repair function, can nourish and long-lasting moisture your skin. Suitable for dry and normal skin. It also comes with a white plastic spatula, that way it’s easier to apply.
And here is the jelly! It looks a bit like hair gel to me, haha. It doesn’t really have a smell, it’s quite neutral. First you need to wash and tone your skin. After that you apply the mask using the spatula, and make an even thick layer. After that you’ll leave it on for 30 minutes. Massage it into the skin and scrape it off, gently. Wash your face with some water and pat your face dry. Okay, Let’s do it!
The application went really smooth. The spatula was very easy to work with, and that way my hands weren’t getting dirty. It spreads very nice as well! It didn’t feel really cold, so that’s a bonus. I didn’t really know what to expect, I didn’t know if it would stay wet or if it would dry up, so that was also a big surprise for me as well! I can confirm that it doesn’t dry 🙂 It felt comfortable on my face, so I’m very liking it so far! It feels a bit weird and slimy though, but quite funny. After 30 minutes it was time to take it of! On the directions it said to scrape it off. I didn’t really know what they meant exactly, so I took the spatula and gently scraped the big parts off. By then I already saw my face getting really red, so that was maybe not that good of an idea… After that I washed my face and patted it dry. My face did feel really soft, such a shame that my face became so red, because I was really starting to like this mask! My face didn’t hurt or burn, it was only red, I guess I can see over that problem. I still have a lot of product left in the jar, which I love! Even though my face was really red and patchy looking my skin did look good and even, which is weird to say because of the red patches, but I had no bumps or anything on my skin and my pores looked noticeable smaller. I couldn’t even see them anymore, that made me really happy!
I definitely gonna use this mask more often! Even though I had a red face after it, it still felt really nice and looked good and moisturized! This is really one of my fave masks right now, I love it!
I hope you all liked my post and that you lovelies had a wonderful weekend!
