Photo Diary | Going To The Cactus Oasis.
Today a little trip! I went with my boyfriend to his grandparents and we went to the Cactus Oasis! It was so much fun and sooo pretty!! I took a lot of picture to show you guys. I hope you like it!
We needed to get up quite early, because it was a long trip. We needed to sit in the car for 3 hours if we didn’t have traffic!
Look at that serious face! So much concentration! HAHA. Although it was a long trip, I didn’t really mind. The view on the way was amazing at times so I had much to look at. OH, and by the way I dyed my hair yesterday! Just a little bit darker. I still need to get used to it, because I’m blonde for so long, but I think I kinda like it! What do you think?
We first went to my boyfriend’s grandparents to have a drink and chat a little! They came with the idea to go to the Cactus Oasis, which sounded like fun to me. It was just 5 minutes away from their house, so we hopped into the car and went.
I didn’t expect it to be so big, but wow what a place! It was really hot inside, and I was wearing my winter coat… not so handy I guess. Like you can see on the pictures, It looked amazing! There were so many cacti, and I really liked the western vibe!
Look what a big place! Filled with beautiful cacti!
The flowers on this one were so pretty, I needed to make a picture of it!
They didn’t only had cacti. They had a lot of antique stuff from back in the days as well, which I find really intrestring to look at! They had old washing machines that your grandmother used to have when she was younger, and spinning wheels etc. The nicest thing was that my boyfriend’s grandma explained a lot of things about the old stuff, on how it works and whats it for. I really liked hearing that!
Even though this is just an old bicycle, I really like this picture and I don’t even know why, haha.
They also had a lot of birds. Parrots, little birds, brightly colored birds, everything! They were making a lot of noise though, but I always like the sound of birds, don’t you? Unless they are screaming in my ears…
I found this so pretty! Look at how much cacti are on there, it looks truly amazing! It was something like a tombe. You could walk inside and there were all different kind of stones and rare crystals, super pretty!
They had a little western set up, I loved it! I don’t know, I always love the vibe of western, just the nice wooden houses and horses, cacti everywhere. I just like it! They also had model trains. I really liked looking at them as well 🙂
That skull, so cool! I also really loved that piano, a little bit of a creepy look but I liked it! The dolls…what should I say? Little bit too creepy? I never liked those kind of dolls, especially not the old ones *brrr*.
After that we had a little bit of an accident. My boyfriend’s grandpa fell over a train, and his arm was bleeding quite badly. Luckily everything was okay! We went back to their house and drank and ate something before we went back on the road again!
After one and a half hour on the road we stopped and grabbed some McDonald’s. I love that sweet and sour sauce so much, hmmm! After our belly was filled we went home and watched a movie. We were really tired so after that it was sleeping time!
I really enjoyed this day, It was really much fun! I hope you also liked reading this 🙂
