Valentine Makeup Look, Photo Tutorial!

Tomorrow it’s Valentine’s Day!! YAY! So it’s time for a makeup tutorial for this special occasion. It is a soft smokey rose/bronze eye look with a nude pinky lip! Let me show you how to achieve this makeup look!

These are the eyeshadows that I used to achieve this look. I numbered them so you know which color I mean in the tutorial. Here we go!

Let’s start with step number one!

PinitValentine makeup 7

I took a normal eyeshadow brush and took color number 1 and applied it all over my eyelids, also on the bottom. This is a really nice base color, it is a light brown and perfect as a base for brown or bronze/red looks.

Step 2:

Now I took color 2 and 3 which are shimmery golden/bronze eyeshadows, and applied it on the middle of my top eyelids to make it extra special for Valentine’s Day!

Step 3:

It was a little bit too golden for my liking, so to bronze it up a little I applied just a little bit of color 4 and 5. Color 4 is a bright orange, and number 5 is a shimmery bronze color to make it pop even more. I applied it also just in the middle of my top eyelids!

Step 4:

Now to make a little more definition to the eyes I applied color 7 in the crease of my eyes, this color is a darker brown/bronze color with shimmer in it. After that I applied a tiny bit of color number 6 in the crease as well, to warm it up a little. This color is a burgundy red shade that I made myself! šŸ™‚

Step 5:

Now take color number 7 again and put it on your bottom lash line to smoke it up a little.

Step 6:

Take a black eyepencil and tideline your upper waterline. If you never done this before it feels a little bit weird and it tickles! It makes your lashes appear fuller so it’s worth to try, it makes alot of difference!

Step 7:

Now just apply it to your bottom waterline.

Step 8:

I didn’t want a too dramatic look. I wanted to keep it soft and romantic, so I didn’t go with a liquid winged eyeliner. I just lined my lash line with the eyepencil as well to make the look a little bit softer.

Step 9:

Add some mascara and your done with the eyelook! Put on your favorite pink nude shade of lipstick and the look is complete! You’re ready for your date on Valentine’s Day šŸ™‚

This is the result!

You see that tidelining your upper waterline makes a lot of difference? My lashes look a lot fuller and you have no white gaps!
