Zoeva – Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette | Review.

Hi guys! Today I’m reviewing the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette, this is a super pretty warm toned eyeshadow palette, so if you wanna know more and want to see some swatches then keep on reading!

This is the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette! I wanted this palette for quite some time and I really hope to get my hands on the Caramel Melange aswell because these palettes are perfect for a warm toned kinda gal like me 🙂

The packaging is simple but still pretty. It’s made of cardboard and closes magnetic, I rather have a palette made of plastic because it’s more travel friendly. The palette is brown with gold details which I love, it really looks like something from a chocolatier! There is no mirror in this palette so that’s a bit of a bummer.

There are 10 eyeshadow shades in this palette, some warm toned but also some purple ones. You can make a whole look with this palette, you have a brow bone highlight, a transition shade and also a darker shade for some definition in the crease. I think the color selection is really nice in this palette!

Of course I made some swatches so you can see how the eyeshadows look on the skin.

From left to right: Bitter Start, Sweeter End, Warm Notes, Subtle Blend, Beans Are White.

Bitter Start: This is an off white shade, perfect as base or as a brow bone highlight.
Sweeter End: This is a shimmery pink-ish color, really popping in the corner of the eye or as a center lid highlight.
Warm Notes: This is a metallic burgundy shade, I really like this one.
Subtle Blend: This is a bit of a weird color, it’s a metallic brown, but I also see some gold and maybe even green.
Beans Are White: This shade might look black, but it’s a really dark brown shade with a hint of purple, really nice to put in the crease.

From left to right: Pure Ganache, Substitute For Love, Freshly Toasted, Infusion, Delicate Acidity.

Pure Ganache: I love using this shade, it’s a really pretty metallic gold and super pigmented!
Substitute For Love: This is also one of my faves, it’s a light warm toned brown shade, perfect as transition color.
Freshly Toasted: This is also a warm toned brown shade but much more to the red side and a little bit darker.
Infusion: This shade is almost the same as Beans Are White, but this one has gold glitter in it.
Delicate Acidity: This is a muted metallic purple shade, this one is also very pretty!

I also created a simple eye look for you guys so you can see how the shadows perform on the eyes. Like I said it’s a really simple look and a bit messy (OOPS!). I used Pure Ganache, Substitute For Love, Freshly Toasted and Beans Are white on my top eyelid, and Delicate Acidity and Beans Are White on the bottom lashline.

I think these shadows are amazing, they’re super pigmented and buttery. They blend really well, but because they are so soft they are also really powdery so you need to be careful when you pick up some product, and there is also a little bit of fallout. The do last really well but the metallic shades do crease on the end of the day when you use it without an eye primer. The thing I also really like is that it is quite affordable for the amount of eyeshadows you get and they are also a really nice quality! I’m not mad at this palette at all, in fact I really love it! I will definitely get some more of the Zoeva eyeshadow palettes, and they are definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some affordable good quality eyeshadow palettes!
